4a. OAuth Authorization Process
Daily Deal Finder uses Pinterest OAuth 2.0 to request access to your Pinterest account. During the authorization process, you will be redirected to Pinterest's official website where you can review and approve the specific permissions we request.
We only request the minimum permissions necessary to provide our service: reading your public profile and boards, and creating Pins on your behalf when you explicitly initiate that action.
We do not and cannot access your Pinterest password at any point in this process.
4b. Token Storage and Data Retention
When you authorize our application, Pinterest provides us with an access token and a refresh token. These tokens are stored securely using industry-standard encryption and are used solely to maintain your authorized connection to our service.
Access tokens have a limited lifespan. Refresh tokens are used to obtain new access tokens without requiring you to re-authorize. We do not use these tokens for any purpose other than providing the specific functionality you have approved.
You can revoke access at any time through your Pinterest account settings. Upon revocation, all stored Pinterest tokens and associated session data are permanently deleted from our systems.
